Rhino 5 evaluation reset how to#
Question: Has anyone out there figured out how to get a deadzone going on the mini-sticks? They're great to have (and why I bought the X56 to begin with) but at least on the flight stick one, it's very difficult to get any precision without hitting both X and Y. So while it's usable in the sense that it will no longer drift right, up is now down. WARNING: These instructions did fix my re-centering problem, but they also reversed the Y-input scale on the mini-stick. Today (Friday morning) I finally got a reply, which was a text file that included instructions for resetting the calibration. On Wednesday I left an Amazon review and was told (via their Amazon rep) that my issue had been escalated. I was told Monday afternoon that my issue had been escalated. Their software does not support deadzones for the mini-sticks. I also asked whether there was some way to set deadzones on the mini-sticks, since even without a re-centering problem, it's very easy to input both X and Y on the stick mini-stick due to its angle. I contacted them about it on Monday morning. It worked great with one exception: the flight stick mini-stick didn't re-center correctly (sound like the Z-axis issue to any X55 owners?).
